Community Involvement:  Identify - Innovate - Create - Share

Community Involvement plays a big part of what we do. We work with our partners, as well as with local media to promote STEM education. Here are just a few of the ways we support our community.

We have been supporting and promoting the message of FIRST for quite some time now. In 2009 a Team from Chile, 2576 Chilean Heart,  sent a general email to the Los Angeles area teams, looking for someone to provide them area support. We were the only team to respond; "We are team 1644, we are an inner-city team, we don't have much, but we are willing to share what we have." Since we have supported teams in Brazil, Mexico as well as 7 local teams.     Read More
