Team 1644 - The ROBO-SKUNKS

"We Can Do, Make, Be... Anything!"

So what is FIRST Robotics?                           (VIDEO)

“Dubbed a varsity Sport for the Mind,™ FRC combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules, limited resources, and time limits, teams of 25 students or more are challenged to raise funds, design a team “brand,” hone teamwork skills, and build and program a robot to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. It’s as close to “real world” engineering as a student can get.”

We have learned that not everyone can "Win", but we can all grow and succeed. As members of the Robo-Skunks we are challenged socially, academically and economically, but we continue to persist and continue to succeed.  Read More

Since we have supported teams in Brazil, Mexico, as well as 8 local teams.     Read More
