Summer STEM Symposium - Friday July 17, 2016
It was an awesome day at USC for our second annual Summer STEM Symposium at USC.. There were 80 Inner-City high school students in attendance. We had some incredible presenters, including; Former California State Information Officer, Elias Cortez, Northrop Grumman Electrical Engineer (and my former student) Reina Villanueva, Dr. Eric Lara, College of the Canyons and Manny Sanchez Engineer, Senior Staff of Lockheed Martin- Skunkworks.. We are extremely grateful to these people for their help..

MESA Madness and Symposium -
Saturday, November 8th @ USC
A total of 9 high school's and middle school's parents and students participated in this year's symposium. With speakers representing companies such Rosa Delgado of DPR Construction, Stephanie Aceves of Ernst & Young, Sergio Perez from Alcoa, Bayron Lopez of the CIM Group, Michael Ortega from Boeing, Carlos Casco from CH2M HIll, and Timothy Wright of the Aerospace Corporation. Speakers focused on topics such as computer science, robotics, getting involved in MESA and FIRST Robotics, Connecting your work in high school to the real world, Women in STEM and What you expect in the future if you start preparing now. Thank you all who participayed in making this event a success.
